FAQ : Questions to Ask Your Wedding Photographer

Two Cents

Most of your packages include full day coverage. What does full day coverage mean?
Each wedding is a little different, some need 4 hours of coverage while others need 11 hours. We will discuss your day and set a timeline to maximize your photos, make sure to capture all those important moments, and maybe leave the ones near the end of the night after one too many glasses of champagne. Basically, we will be there until we have all you need!

When can we expect to see our photos?
In about 4 weeks

Do you require a deposit?
Yes, we take 30% to book your date.

What are your payment methods?
Cash, Check or Paypal or Chase QuickPay

How many photographers will come?
This varies with your package. We prefer 2 shooters for almost EVERY wedding.

What type of albums do you create?
Flush mount, custom designed, leather or linen bound.

What’s included in an engagement session?
Sessions are usually 45-60 minutes and we’ll help you pick a location or two! You’ll receive your digital images to print and share as you’d please.

Do you shoot digital, film, or both?
Both!

What cameras do you use?
We are all over the map. Nikon, Canon, Sony for video and  Contax 645 for film.

How many photos can we expect to get?
The average 8 hour wedding will yield around 600 images.

Will we get to keep the digital photos?
Yes, they are yours to print and share as you please

Who holds the copyright of the images?
We keep hold of the copyright and grant you personal usage rights for life.

When will we get them and how will they be presented?
6 weeks after your wedding your photos will be added to your online gallery where you can download the images.

How long will my photos be online?
Your photos will be online for a minimum of 6 months. (extensions available)

We’re having a destination wedding. What are your travel fees?
If we are already in the area, there will be no fees! Otherwise, we require plane ticket, car and a hotel room for 2 nights for each shooter in attendance.

Do you edit and enhance the photos ?
Yes, they are all artistically valued and edited for the best quality.

Do you have references I can contact?
You are welcome to ask for any of our past client’s contact info to see how they liked my services. Also, hop over to WeddingWire.com, Yelp or theKnot to see other reviews 🙂
